JOHN WALMSLEY
late of MIXENDEN, who died
June 7th 1857 aged 41 years.
"These flowers that beautify the ground
He watched them fade away

Until he drooped himself and found
He was as frail as they.

He found that death was link'd with life
He felt the doom ws just

And wearied with his mortal strife
Lay quietly in the dust."
