DANIEL AMBLER of BRADSHAW ROW
OVENDEN who died May 7th 1852
aged 66 years.
"His mind was tranquil and serene
No terror in his looks were seen
His saviours smile dispel'd the gloom
And smoothed his passage to the tomb"
Also of MARY AMBLER wife of
the above who died Feby 1st 1855
aged 68 years
"Far from affliction toil and care
Her happy soul has fled
Her breathless clay must slumber now
Among the silent dead
Slowly her earthly frame decayed
Her end was long in sight
Nor was her steady soul afraid
To take her awful flight"
