of the late JOHN CATHERALL of
SWILL HILL END POTTERY OVENDEN who
departed this life on the 6th day of
January 1859 in the 66th year of his age

He died in faith, what more can words express,

To soothe the mind and make our sorrow less.

Removed from us he treads a brighter sphere

And shares the glances he most wished for here.

That Lord he loved and shared is now his joy,

And songs of praises his divine employ.

Also of RACHEL, wife of the above JOHN
CATHERALL who died December 17th 1869,
aged 70 years.
Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.
