In memory of WALTER ROBINSON
born July 29th 1875
who died at his post
as conductor of a tramcar
at Pye Nest
Halifax on the 15th Oct. 1907
striving to the last to save the
occupants of the car. This monument was erected by the public in token of his bravery and devotion to duty.
